@airliecourtney1@DrDaveT A genetic test is the most conclusive diagnostic test for CIPA. This can be done prior to birth, during infancy, or as an adult. An mutation in the human TRKA (NTRKI) gene can be detected by a genetic DNA test, confirming the diagnosis of CIPA.
