Thai soldiers reportedly opened fire on civilians in Prey Chan village, Ou Beychoan commune, Ou Chrov district, Banteay Meanchey province, around 4 p.m., leaving five civilians injured, according to initial reports from local authorities.
It’s been almost two weeks, and our remaining 18 soldiers are still not released from Thailand.
Don’t stay silent on this matter.

Phnom Penh, August 04, 2025
Spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense Kingdom of Cambodia :
I would like to inform the public, as well as national and international journalists, of the following:
At 11 a.m. this morning, Thai armed forces, accompanied by heavy machinery such as excavators, entered An Ses area within Cambodian sovereign territory, and even laid barbed wire, despite strong objections from our forces. It is also worth noting that Cambodia recently arranged a visit by foreign military attachés to those locations on July 30, 2025, clearly demonstrating that these areas are part of Cambodian sovereign territory. This act constitutes a flagrant violation of the ceasefire and poses a grave threat to peace and security along the border between the two countries, as well as to the wider region. Cambodia calls on the international community — particularly partner countries that have worked tirelessly to help achieve this hard-won ceasefire and wish to see it fully and effectively implemented — to demand that Thailand immediately stop its aggressive actions and strictly respect international law, especially Cambodia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

A day about to pass to 2nd August 2025. As expected, Thailand has broken yet another promise. Like a broken record, I hope for the world to see this act without any humanity.

After the ceasefire, Thailand captured Cambodian soldiers and still refused to release them. They only release 2 of them, but with a mental state and broke bones.

More information about our soldiers. He returned to Cambodia with heavily injured. They did not release all of our soldiers. Why they still holding them?

On the morning of July 30, 2025, CMAC explosive ordnance disposal experts responded to an emergency request from local civilians whose homes were struck by a massive aerial bomb. The bomb has been identified as an MK-84, one of the largest in the MK-series (MK-81, MK-82, MK-83, and MK-84). It weighs approximately 1,000 kilograms, stretches about 3.5 meters long, and contains over 500 kilograms of explosive material.
This MK-84 bomb was reportedly dropped by the Royal Thai Air Force in a recent violation of Cambodian territory. It is important to note that the use of MK-84 bombs has been extremely rare in this region, even during the height of the Indochina War. #ExposeThailandLies
