What I’ve learned watching politics since Trump has been in office is that too often, the response from Democrats is to attack, bully, or play the blame game before actually explaining why they believe they’ve earned your vote.

Nicki Minaj literally JUST criticized Democrats for getting too caught up in pop culture and becoming petty and Jasmine Crockett (@JasmineForUS) responds by reposting content about Nicki’s husband and brother’s criminal histories instead of addressing what Nicki actually said or explaining why she shouldn’t align herself with the other party. 🤦🏾‍♂️

You don’t even have to agree with Nicki politically to see the irony.

Her message was basically: spend some time researching politics, decide who YOU think deserves your vote, and then she made a little joke suggesting “vote red.” 😂

But the reaction I’m seeing has focused almost entirely on “VOTE RED” instead of the bigger point she was making.

Going after her family instead of challenging her argument just ends up proving the exact point she was making about the conversation becoming petty and personal. 😭😂

And honestly, reactions like this are exactly why I won’t be voting blue. If you want my vote, earn it with policy and results…not personal attacks on somebody’s family.
