Thought I would pop on to share that I’ve just had a review article published yesterday! Check out a review of the studies describing the types of enzymatic processing that occurs
to DNA protein crosslinks- here!

Publication alert!
So excited to share that my study titled: “Ubiquitin signaling and the proteasome drive human DNA-protein crosslink repair” has been published in @NAR_Open

It's clearly time to share the spookiest fungi you've got.
I'll go first: leaf microfungi, prominently featuring carotenoid-producing orange yeasts (Sporidiobolales) and melanized black yeasts (Aureobasidium).

jewish law requires an abortion if the fetus is threatening the mother’s life. “religious freedom” in america only ever applies to the white christian masses.
I really wish people would stop drastically using the scenarios of rape or incest as the sole premise for an abortion. A woman doesn’t have to be in a traumatic situation for it to be reason enough. In fact there is zero explanation that needs to be given.
@dankleinman While sadly we will never know this brave hero’s name, an anonymous field researcher measured his beard growth when he anticipated seeing his girlfriend on his days off, and concluded that beard growth is stimulated by anticipation of sexual activity https://t.co/ls9PjAKrHP
“as we move toward the possibility of #COVID19 becoming endemic” sure is a weird way to say “while we are currently in the middle of the largest #COVID19 surge of this pandemic”
Here’s a pre-exposure antibody therapy that we’ve approved for people who are unable to mount an adequate immune response to vaccines. Oh you’ve been exposed? We have no way of finding out how to get you this treatment, let us know when you’re dying, bye!
@tfreedmanlab Omg thank you! I hadn’t heard of a myrmecologist before but I’m definitely incorporating that into more things my handle can translate to! It was great seeing you and talking to you too and I hope you have a wonderful holidays!
I know everyone thinks their field is the most important field in the world but like I really really think it’s so crucial that the general public understands how scientific method/research works bc it’s so detrimental to public health when people don’t trust science.
And like that’s where we’re at right now and maybe we wouldn’t be here if people understood how scientists design experiments with controls and how to recognize possibility of false positives and that we can’t prove a hypothesis but can only disprove a hypothesis
