π·A tour of the 923-metre long Kazungula Bridge - which cost US$259 million - across the Zambezi River at the most famous international quadripoint in Southern Africa, "Four Corners of the World", involving Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
The Kazungula Bridge, opened in 2021, spans the Zambezi River at its confluence with Chobe River, connecting Botswana and Zambia directly.
It is curved specifically to avoid entering Zimbabwean or Namibian territories due to political issues and complex, unresolved border disputes at the quadruple.
Zimbabwe was initially not part of the project due to diplomatic and political disputes under the late former president Robert Mugabe, but was later invited even if it is still not a major player.
