POWER OUTAGE NOTICE: Residents affected by the current power outage impacting Adonis, San Lucas, Missile Base, and Dove Mountain are welcome to come to the Marana Aquatic & Recreation Center (MARC) as a temporary cooling center.

TRAFFIC UPDATE: Construction for the Rattlesnake Pass Road Widening project has resumed. Hunter Contracting will be working extended hours to meet the original schedule.

Thornydale Road is closed north of Moore Road due to downed power lines. Sahuaro Ranch residents currently do not have access in or out. Emergency services can still reach the neighborhood if needed. Please avoid the area. The road is expected to reopen in a few hours.

Marana PD officers are on-scene in the area of 3945 W. Costco Dr. with Northwest Fire District and Southwest Gas reference a gas leak. Costco Drive in the area of the gas leak is shut down.

Crews from NWFD and @TucsonFireDept responded to a fire involving 5 garbage trucks on the northwest side. Three of the trucks were completely damaged. The fire is under investigation. @MaranaPD

TRAFFIC ALERT: A train is stopped blocking the Tangerine Rd crossing just east of I-10. Traffic is currently being diverted. Please avoid the area or find an alternate route. Drivers are still able to exit I-10 at Tangerine Rd.

There is an active police situation in the area of Cortaro and Interstate 10 on the west side of the Interstate. Roadways in the vicinity to include Interstate 10 are shut down. We encourage you to avoid the area if possible.

Truck towing RV was involved in a rollover on I10 between Tangerine and Marana. Minor injuries, traffic on I10 is restricted in both directions. @Arizona_DPS @MaranaPD
