We have completed a $30M funding round led by @ForesightVen to build a trader-first Perp DEX focused on capital efficiency, trading experience, and returning platform value to real contributors.

The funding will be used to provide initial liquidity, enhance trading depth, accelerate product development, expand the core team, and strengthen PopDEX’s presence across global markets and communities.

PopDEX is now inviting selected traders to join our PopLab Closed Test, which is the early testing and co-building program for us as we continue refining the product with the community. The testing phase will focus on improving the trading process, capital efficiency, product interaction, risk control, and user experience.

Been a while since I shared a major update, so here goes. ✊

Our invite-only Season 1 onboarded 34k users w/ strong early monetization signals (e.g. 4.1% paid conversion). Solid foundation to build from.

We’re in the final stages of planning our open launch, building on what we’ve learned through major updates, including one particularly fun feature we’re calling “Miogotchi” internally.

AI has moved from experts to prosumers, totally disrupting software. Consumers are next, but prosumer tools can help bridge the gap to consumer AI. The interface is missing.

We want Mios, as voiced expressive 3D characters, to become your interface for AI without you needing to think like a builder. One interface, usable anywhere, with infinite plugins, from everyday apps to AI tools.

Crucially, Mios are built for utility and attention. Every Mio has its own needs and experiences. This will take shape soon, backed by a character architecture that makes Mios persistent, with emergent behaviors.

Finally, I know I’ve been quieter on here recently. That’s created 2 windows for me: 1) more time working directly on product than I’ve had in ages, and 2) learning how to be a dad to our new baby boy, which has been a wildly joyful experience.
