@thedoganator@NickYoungCohen1 @Soros111901 @shepherd_btc @RaoulGMI I do think it’s positive. Currently the majority of the Bitcoin hashrate comes from a single country who could pretty easily take control of the mines and do what they wanted if they saw Bitcoin as a threat. So I think it’s good to diversify your portfolio
@DragoonZytl@Breedlove22 Ok right that makes sense. That’s all good for now whilst we’re in the bull market and I can borrow a lot against my crypto but what about in the next bear market ? Wouldnt I have missed my chance to realise some profit ?
@RocInvests@tyler Actually Bitcoin gives the little guy a chance. Anyone can buy it and store it for free in a software wallet and watch their investment grow. It’s going to close the wealth gap because the bar of entry is just a little bit of knowledge which you can get on YouTube
@Breedlove22 And I don’t mean use your Bitcoin profits to buy cars or coffees or designer bags. Buy other assets like houses or even businesses that’ll give you passive income 🌞
@Breedlove22 That sounds quite impractical tbh. For the average person they should take profits and use it to fund their life. That’s very important in my opinion. Keep some for a crisis fund too
@NewsAsset If we only cared about storing value everyone would be buying gold. So yeah I just think comparing Bitcoin and gold is a bit like apples and pears. Perhaps in 10 years when bitcoin is more liquid the comparison will be more fair but for now it’s for speculative
@thedoganator@NickYoungCohen1 @Soros111901 @shepherd_btc @RaoulGMI I just think it’s a decent investment for now that’s all, maybe that’ll change but for now it looks good. I get your point too but with 2.0 and POS it’ll mean less POW being done on cloud services etc so can only be a positive change
@Soros111901 @shepherd_btc @RaoulGMI Whatever it is it’s probably the future of all defi systems as it’s already so well adopted and has a huge network of users and backers and investors. Exciting times :)
@saxena_puru@YasirChowdhrey@APompliano Dude the reason why @APompliano doesn’t want to write answers for your questions is because he probably doesn’t give a shit if you invest in Bitcoin or not 😂 either you’re interested or not. It’s not his job to convince you to like BTC like it’s some kind of cult
@JackCarver420@unsound_advice@cryptomanran But BTC and ETH aren't competitors. They'll coexist together doing different things and most likely we'll use wrapped Bitcoin on all Ethereum apps in the future. Also Ethereum does have it's tentacles in legacy finance, VISA are adopting it for starters
@realNarcissco @RaoulGMI@radu_cc@jamesviggy Money in its purest form is the most useful thing mankind has ever invented. But FIAT currency specifically is trash
@realNarcissco @RaoulGMI@radu_cc@jamesviggy Money is just a representation of value to exchange easily that’s all. In your system if you didn’t own a house but want to get one you’d have to acquire equivalent value in some other item in the hope they homeowner would want it in return... that makes no sense at scale
