@TorontoTeacherX Me too. It's the last weekend of the summer and I've had 2 weeks off all year while working 12hr shifts, nights, weekends, holidays and special occasions. I truly don't know how teachers do it with 3 mos off, stats and weekends & 7 hr days. Some heros don't wear capes 🙄

Even gun possession is usually in the range of 12-18 mos and that involves a fully loaded prohibited firearm

For example, B&E is max 14 yrs. The most I've ever seen where someone was convicted of a string of B&E was 60 days and that was for 5 incidents.

The Judge that released her even acknowledged she has no prior record and the time she would spend in jail awaiting trial would be more than any sentence she could get. The maximum sentence is rarely, if ever, imposed.
