Montréal Impact having a bunch of security guards monitoring their empty supporters section that the team's supporters groups abandoned in protest pretty much sums up the entire Saputo clown show
Vancouver Whitecaps fans display a banner in French presumably showing support for Montréal supporters who protested the team and their leadership by not coming to the match:
"Without the supporters, football is nothing."
- Ils amènent mad monde (pas comme toronto)
- Ils ont des bâches (pas comme toronto)
- Message de respect malgré le fait qu'on a aucune criss de relation

I love the fans of Montreal first of all. Nothing against them; this is completely directed at the club. What is their punishment for being bad over and over and over again? They have NO reason to be better, yet they get to stay in the top flight. This is the reason so many people in the United States want relegation. It puts pressure on ownership to sink or swim. This is why I don’t believe there is parity in MLS; there is forced mediocrity. Absolute shame.
I'm going to call "CF Montréal" the Montréal Impact going forward since we all know that's their real name because fuck Saputo. Well, the situation continues to disintegrate there. MLS needs to step in. I don't see how this team can continue to exist under Saputo at this point.
Depuis quelques jours, plusieurs journalistes et anciens joueurs affichent plus ouvertement leur incompréhension face au rebrand.
Dommage.
Si ce mouvement avait eu lieu dès le départ, on aurait sauver beaucoup de temps et de colère.

Dear @cfmontreal
Before you ban your most loyal fans for being too passionate, and voicing their displeasure with the disaster you created, you should ban yourself for incompetence and for destroying a storied club. Montreal will forever be Impact!
We live in a dystopia where paid MLS influencers post selfies of themselves enjoying a match in premium seats pretending to watch a team they don't care about, while out of view there are authentic supporters booing and throwing things onto the pitch.
