“Multivariate”: multiple DEPENDENT variables.

“Multivariable”: 1 dependent and multiple INDEPENDENT variables.

PSA to all researchers: using -variate when you mean -variable is wrong! They’re distinctly different methods! I will ding you for it in any review of your work!
