Remember they only have the house in common with each other. Pauline and Joanne spoke about Rochelle constantly too.

Also worth noting they might mention her twice a day and speak about horses and pets the rest of the day. They have to cut a day into 45 mins.
The story needs to make sense, wouldnt make sense if they didnt show Rochelle and Phillip talking about her and then cut to Pauline trying to smack her and then it looks so out of context
