As some of you may know, I was part of an amazing group @youdonatewedel1 delivering food to NHS frontline workers. I've put his recipe book together from the food the amazing chefs & cooks provided
All money raised goes to the charity.. please share this
@RachelVMartin@niallb1@SeanSlaterTHFC@jamiedonley9 And lastly, as if to prove the point, a quick glance at u16, u18, u21 results already this season, 5 wins from 5 between them, an avalanche of goals already, same style, same drive, yet all 3 have lost 5/6 important players from last season, as they move up through the age groups
@RachelVMartin@niallb1@SeanSlaterTHFC@jamiedonley9 They are a fantastic group of young men..
I went to about 25/38 u21 games last season, & after every game they go and chat to the fans, have photos, sign things, they are so engaging, but utterly focused.. the parents also very engaging, happy to chat, introduce themselves (cont)
@RachelVMartin@niallb1@SeanSlaterTHFC@jamiedonley9 Credit to themselves, their parents & all the coaching team.. @wayneburnett1 is doing a fantastic job preparing them as professional footballers & as people!! Iโm sure wishing the next couple of seasons our 1st team squad will have 6/7 academy products starring.. (cont)
@NS_THFC @Tommoo1882 @SpursOfficial Richy & Johnson, last season 41 starts between them 16G/15A between them..
31 goal contributions in 41 starts.. apparently that hideous to come off the bench.. ๐
@Lilywhite_Rose You can clearly see the forward thinking & plan with u18/u21 sides, both losing 5/6 hugely important players from last season, yet picking up where they left off, seamless transition through the age groups which is exactly what it should be..
@warren93112143 @theoracle81 @Ndombolo20 Itโs that weird mentality that academy players have to be even better than the ones you buy!! And generally the ones you buy have been either playing senior football for a while here or overseas..
@theoracle81 @warren93112143@Ndombolo20 The point with the academy boys is that theyโve grown up as winners, 4 trophies in 2yrs, u16/u17 PL Cup, PL2 league & play-off winners, so many times they found a way to win, beating 3 very good sides to get to play-off final (AV, LIV & CFC).. the mentality is changing
