The account was closed because I was left with no other option based on my interactions with the company and I still want resolution to my original complaint about the property canceling our reservation the day of check in without contacting us to resolve any issue and instead forcing us to rebook at a significantly higher rate! In fact for a two day stay it cost us an extra day from an expense point. The manager treated our concerns like that of something one would scrap off the bottom of her shoe.

So I posted this as a last ditch effort to reach someone @IHGService @IHGCorporate to deal with an issue that I wanted resolved. I received a response requesting a DM, which was sent but after 4 weeks, zero response. I honestly had hoped for better from a company that I have patronized for many years, decades really. I was hoping to find someone that cared enough to help with an issue me and my family had with one of the company properties but instead I get crickets and silence.
We have a trip planned in July to see our daughter graduate from her AIT training from the Army in San Antonio. We specifically instructed our travel agent to NOT utilize any @IHGCorporate properties.
I would like a response but at this point, highly doubt that I will receive one and will never again stay at any IHG related properties.

WATCH: Spotsylvania County Commonwealth’s Attorney Ryan Mehaffey is among the group of Virginia Commonwealth’s Attorneys vowing not to enforce the new assault firearm ban and public carry ban signed by Governor Abigail Spanberger.

“The assault weapons ban and the public carry ban are obviously unconstitutional,” he said.

Attorney General Jay Jones told news outlets, “Commonwealth’s Attorneys are elected to enforce our laws, which is what we expect them to do when these laws take effect on July 1.”

In response to commonwealth’s attorneys like Mehaffey, some Democrats have even said,  “You don’t get to pick and choose which law you will enforce.”

But Mehaffey fired back saying Democratic Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano seems to do just that.

7News has reported on how Descano has dropped charges on several violent illegal immigrant suspects like Abdul Jalloh, and he dropped numerous gun crime charges against illegal immigrants who then went on to commit more crimes.

“The law should be vigorously enforced against violent and dangerous people, and the laws that were not being enforced in some other jurisdictions were not being enforced, not out of constitutional concern, but just out of an ideology,” said Mehaffey.
