Erection of the Adhesive Free Timber demonstrator finished (Université de Lorraine - France). The structure combine oak timber for the columns and spruce timber for the trusses and purlings, assembled using compressed wood dowels.
Great news : Adhesive free timber structure, using high strength compressed wood dowels as joining technique, under construction at Épinal city (at the Université de Lorraine), in France, in the framework of the AFTB project funded by the Interreg N-W-E.
@AFTbuildings Tuan Anh BUI, PhD student at the University of Lorraine, started serviceability vibration tests on adhesive free CLT pannels assembled through compressed wood dowels, in the framework of the AFTB project.
@AFTbuildings Adhesive free cross laminated timber panels (AFCLT), with dimensions of 2 m x 1 m, manufactured by the sub-partener Chene Concept (Denis Meyer company) will be delivered to the University of Lorraine in the framework of the AFTB project.
