You NEVER tell a team that cannot win now, that they'll be good in a couple years and repeat this over and over.

It's beyond idiotic.

What you can, and should say, is I know we have the talent, effort, and skill to be champions, but I'm unsure we're ready to win; but we'll have to see how we perform.

This is ok. This is a challenge. You have confidence in your boys, but they have to prove it.

By credit you mean blame. You are repeating total crap from a deeply overrated thinker and horrible person. I’ll give you just two of many. A) Fama wrote his dissertation in the 1960s on how returns are not Gaussian but fat tailed; he was writing on that as Nassim Taleb was being born (and being a disgusting rude blowhard to the OBGYN nurses I’m sure), B) Fama is much less dogmatic than idiots like @factualbill ignorantly assert just because their cult leader taleb said so. I have sat through his full class three times (once as student, twice as TA, and he tells the class very firmly “markets are assuredly NOT perfectly efficient” becuase that’s a ridiculous extreme. He likely thinks they’re more efficient than I do, and I probably think them more efficient than many others. But fools and bad actors paint him as a straw man / caricature which he is not.

As an aside, he’s also 1000x the person (actually we could have a divide by zero problem) as NNT. NNT was a terrible human before he became a walking and (constantly) talking commercial for Hamas. Other than that @factualbill you did great here.

I have no opinion on $NVDA specifically, but that this is going to cause some revolution I believe is totally overdone.

The race to build the worlds greatest $supercomputer #AI/ #LLM will not slow down in the least as its all about having the best model; and whomever does. will be in such a position of power that it cannot, logically slow down....
