Northern lad & proud Dad (2 girls + 2 spaniels). Love listening to music, any music really. Enjoy reading, mainly horror but other stuff too. Up the Potters!
@DeborahMeaden@Keir_Starmer The thing is, I can’t see Labour winning the next GE if he doesn’t go. Like it or not Andy Burnham is likely to be far more popular than the hugely unpopular PM and while that shouldn’t matter, it really does.
@btharris93@ZoeJardiniere Zoe has already answered that question for you, Ben:
“Of course an elite class should continue to gatekeep opportunity behind walls of wealth.”
That’s what you are advocating for.
@ha66ie@TNLUK Depends which side of the fence you’re on. Absolutely butchered as far as you and I are concerned, but somebody at TNLUK will be getting a huge bonus next March!
@TheKnicksRecap Even as Champs little is going to change. People will always be underestimating this Knicks team… and to be truthful, I like it like that. 🔵🟠
@gaylesian@ha66ie@TNLUK You won’t need to worry about that as much anymore. With 2 draws in place the laws of probability stipulate that rollovers will become a lot fewer and further between. The likelihood of a ‘must be won’ draw has decreased dramatically.
@Leanne599@AGrueller@TNLUK@tavs_armband They’re not daft. They’ll be anticipating a drop in sales but having done their homework will be confident the losses will be outweighed by the drop in prize money. Plus they’ll be counting on £1 winners to plough that quid back into the lottery before they even leave the shop.
@L1980David@TNLUK What they’re really, really hoping for is that you think, “a pound’s no good to me, may as well put it towards another ticket or a scratch card.”
The sad thing is the majority of punters are going to prove them right. It’s actually really clever… and shitty at the same time.
@TNLUK@ianhardingjnr So, we already know you’ve demolished the tiered prizes… but can we also expect a significant fall in the number of rollovers + a reduction in the average jackpot win (winnings not winners).
@TNLUK Triple whammy: 3 ball, 4 ball, 5 ball payout on first 2 round draw compared to old format:
Jun 13th - £84K paid to 5 ball winners £282.3K to 4 ball winners £1.4m paid to 3 ball winners
Jun 6th - £245k paid to 5 ball winners £1.2m to 4 ball winners £5.3m to 3 ball winners.
😮
@TNLUK Im not getting into with you. As soon as you’re backed into a corner you’ll disappear. Check yesterday messages with TJ if you doubt that.
However, if you want to show evidence that the new rules will categorically result in @TNLUK paying out more in prize money then be my guest.
@StevenSmith1980@TNLUK If you don’t understand my POV then I think that’s a refusal to take the blinkers off; I don’t agree with your outtake but I still understand where you’re coming from. My view is simple, these changes benefit Allwyn more than they benefit the payment customer. It’s that simple.
