We’re kicking off our second ever ULTIMATE WHO WOULD WIN WEEK TOURNAMENT, where the best of the best in four carefully chosen categories go against each other in a bracket of maximum chaos.
I'd like to once again thank everyone who participated and hyped up the event for the last three years. Running the event got me through the darkest parts of the pandemic.
Special thanks to @spellboundmage who helped me organize and run the event last year.

ANNOUNCEMENT: As you may have begun to suspect, the March Masksness event will not be happening this year. The decision was difficult and made for several reasons, primarily because it was important to me to provide a quality experience to all Podcasts and Participants.

I'll leave the future of the event uncertain. The March Masksness Competitive Grounds are safely tucked away in their multidimensional space and I've got more ideas for themes.
I suspect we have not seen the last of the event.

Let's talk lineups, shall we?
Between the rounds of the #marchmasksness 2022 tournament the young heroes are able to meet up talk and share stories about their own homes. Here are some of those stories.

Our pets and companions are still digitized! We have our best tech-based heroes working on it (and if I learned anything from @PoDunkSoupSport, there were a lot of them this year) but it seems they don't want to come out of the computer until they know which of them is superior.
@primefactorx01 I'm not a math expert but I believe the vote totals have a standard deviation of 19.
I think that puts the Thermite/Mystic match-up was 3 standard deviations off average.
It's time for a March Maskness wrap up
At the end of the competition I like to talk through some of what went well and call out some of the numbers that feel important. This was the third year I've run March Masksness and it was a lot of fun as always.
I continue to find it hilarious that people heard "low effort promo event" and ran in the other direction.
The related events, musicals, meta-sports center shows all make this whole thing a really cool community event. I just can't believe you all do all that work.
