We lost a great friend far too soon last year, Alan tragically lost his battle at only 49. We are taking on a mighty challenge in his memory to try and raise funds for this fantastic charity! #JustGiving https://www.just https://t.co/joICZjwBhR
@Damndelicious Similar story here Michael and 1 lot broken out through the night. Cattle are definitely not as settled as usual on the paddocks this year!
@EdinvaleFarm I feel there’s no point in outwintering some stock classes for the sake of saying they’re outwintered. If the sheds are there and it can fit, as in use surplus summer grass made in to silage and give you more to go at as an early turn out then don’t get hung up on it to much🤷♂️
@ClynelishFarm Battled with the same problem for years here Vic, unfortunately the only thing I’ve found to work is to feed a small amount of concentrate. Beet pulp was ideal but pretty expensive. Finishing on red clover seems to have solved the problem for now
@ClynelishFarm How are you finding the herbal ley Vik? Struggled a bit to get it to persist here…..could be closely linked to my poor grass management though!
@suesustainable @InnovisLtd Have a day off would you Sue, you obviously have no clue about what’s happened here. These guys have been brave enough to share a really shit situation that wasn’t their fault and the best you can do is come up with some smart arse comments.
@InnovisLtd That’s hellish guys, the flooding was unbelievable. Never seen the river rise as quick and aggressively as that, fare play to you for sharing there is plenty others in the same situation locally.
