😀
This Lavender Albino Piebald Ball Python, bred by Justin Kobylka, appears to have 3 smiley faces on it, thus dubbed 'Emoji' Ball Python. Currently he is worth $4,500.
For a short clip of the cutie go here https://t.co/Zwx4GAVOeH
This uncommon purebred Dalmatian deviates from the breed standard which calls for a short coat. The gene for long coats is a double recessive and has many modifiers, meaning the coat length can vary.

This tree, and 5 other Albino Redwoods, can be found at #HumboldtRedwoodsStatePark Picture was taken by Redwood Coast, check out their Flickr for more of this rare Redwood https://t.co/BkVGZhaRTz
This is one of only ~50 known albino Redwoods in the world; because the tree's needles lack pigment, they can not make their own chlorophyll and must take nutrients from another plant like a parasite (in this case, a much larger redwood tree).
Omo is a leucistic Giraffe of #TarangireNationalPark. Unlike albinism, leucism still leaves some pigment. These photos were taken by Dr. #DerekLee, you can read more about Tarangire's leucistic animals here https://t.co/Khw609jcaV
No, this meadow grasshopper (Chorthippus parallelus) isn't photo shopped 🦗 It has an unusual genetic mutation called erythrism, which is the lack or excess of pigments that result in a red or, in this case, a pink color.
This Raccoon has a color variant known as Cinnamon or Red. While very rare in the wild, this color mutation is much more common in captive bred Raccoons for pelts or as pets.

Faith, from #CheetahExperience, has a unique curled tail, possibly due to genetics or a brain injury she received as a cub. It didn't stop the spring in her step though😁 Read more about Faith the cheetah here; https://t.co/z8ojlw8jiK
This white and translucent lobster was caught by Alex Todd of Maine. The rare color of this crustacean is most likely due to a mutation which results in the partial loss of pigment. Lucky for this fella he was thrown back into the ocean after a photo-op
This African Cheetah, named Shaka, was photographed at de wildt cheetah and Wildlife Centre. Shaka is known as a King Cheetah due to the recessive fur pattern mutation.
Picture was taken by Jon Isaacs, visit his Flickr for more exotic wildlife photos; https://t.co/VuIjwz13eu
Unfortunately I don't know the species, and I can't seem to find the original upload of the picture either. If you want to read and see more of these rare butterflies, head on over to https://t.co/DqMAOBk1JJ
Why does this butterfly have two different wings? It's a bilateral gynandromorph! What the hell does that mean? During chromosome duplication, the sex chromosome doesn't split as intended. In this case, one half of the organism has female tissue female and the other has male.
This exceedingly rare Red Eared Slider, owned by Rich (Rick?) Dixon, has yet to be reproduced. As far as I know, the color morph has yet to be named. Read more about the few turtles that have this unique morph here;
