@billgifford This is your only point I disagree with. “Early detection” is conventional medicines way of avoiding prevention. It’s very profitable and carries significant risks which your physician is very unlikely to discuss with you. It needs to be very individualized, not mass prescribed.

Harvesting Sockeye and Silver Salmon with Kenaitze Tribal Council Vice Chair Jake Kooly and tribal members from gill net on Cook Inlet near mouth of Kenai River. The 2,300 member tribe nets 10,000 salmon each year under this allotment. This year 5,000,000 Salmon will flood the Kenai to spawn in a 50 year record season. Many tribal members still subsist on moose , salmon and berries, but more are turning to processed foods. Earlier in the day I toured the tribe’s Dena’ina Wellness Center which is struggling with diabetes, obesity and heart disease which were unknown prior to the introduction of processed foods.
