I’m convinced its all downstream of mitochondrial strain or dysfunction.

Maybe im wrong but even if the issue started in the gut, a failure to recover efficiently would again point back to mitochondria.

I assume that a third or fourth order consequence of that dysfunction leads to issues with bile, stomach acid, tight junctions, motility, etc, which creates the persistence in the problems.
