Attention: 7-8 Figure E-Commerce Business…
In the ancient parable of the blind men and the elephant…
Each individual perceives the magnificent creature differently based on the part they touch.
One feels the trunk and describes it as a thick snake…
While another touches the leg and likens it to a sturdy tree trunk.
This analogy speaks volumes about the challenges faced by e-commerce entrepreneurs like you…
In the midst of running your business, it's easy to get lost in the details and lose sight of the bigger picture.
With this in mind…
How much potential revenue are you leaving untapped simply because you're too close to see it?
When you’re stuck inside your own business all the time, it’s easy to lose sight of what other successful ecom businesses are doing.
See, if you could access the same winning strategies other thriving ecom businesses are using…
…and then “swipe and deploy” them into your own business…
You could unlock a surge of new growth!
That’s where my team and I come in…
We’re a team of media buyers, funnel and conversion specialists.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Last weekend, we went on a long six-hour walk up a volcano in Taiwan called Yang Ming Shan.
Water buffaloes were taking a plunge at nearly 30 degrees Celsius.
The area was full of a sulfur smell, a testament to the volcanic activities.
Yang Ming Shan is famous for its hot springs. We soaked in one right after the hike to reward ourselves which gave me that extra boost, especially after reaching the summit.
Spending time outside with friends is a great way to feel better after a busy week at work.
How do you switch off?
Have you ever wondered how to turn your one-time website visitors into loyal customers?
Remarketing campaigns via Google Ads or Social Media let you target people who have already shown interest in your business or your products, such as website visitors, email subscribers, YouTube channel subscribers, and video viewers.
By focusing on these groups, we’ve been more effectively turning them into customers with our clients.
It's important to know who to target and what to say to them since they're close to making a purchase.
At WunderAds, we use workflow charts to show our clients our plan, helping us improve our approach as part of their overall marketing strategy.
We just helped one of our clients who sells a high-ticket course to get much better leads and qualified sales calls via YouTube Ads.
As media buyers, we understand the power of leveraging messaging and targeting to make a tangible impact.
1. Messagin - By experimenting with various hooks, narratives, and calls to action, we optimized our messaging to not just attract viewers, but to engage potential students who are genuinely interested in our client’s offerings.
2. Targeting - Our focus was ensuring that these video ads reached individuals ready to invest in their education, specifically targeting those with the financial capability to afford our client's premium courses priced in the four digits.
3. Client <> Media Buyer Synergies - A pivotal element of our strategy was establishing a robust feedback loop between our team and our client's, especially the sales team.
Our philosophy extends beyond being an external agency; we immerse ourselves within our client's team to tap into the collective energy and insights, driving towards common goals.
We're not just media buyers but an integral part of your team, committed to achieving shared success.
I am excited to share that our approach to customizing reports to our clients' specific needs is not just about delivering data but ensuring clarity and alignment on every milestone.
It's easier than ever for our clients to see that we're on track, aligning perfectly with their goals.
Plus, a fantastic win from our latest YouTube campaigns - we've successfully cut the Cost per Lead by a whopping 50%!
This week, I'm diving deep into optimizing our processes to boost efficiency and add a professional flair.
Inspired by our latest team member, whose extensive experience with major corporate brands is a goldmine, we aim to integrate processes and structures into our system to achieve the next level of efficiency and professionalism.
We're excited about what's ahead!
80% of New Year's resolutions fail by the second week of February.
Well, I’m usually one of them.
Since October, I have been sketching out what I want to accomplish next year, and then I have become very serious about goal setting in December and January.
But what usually happens is that after I massively accomplish writing down and refining those goals, I forget about them fast and fail.
Not this time! This time, I will optimize my process for setting and achieving goals.
Here’s my current process:
1. De-briefing the year before - it’s a process of analyzing our mistakes, looking at them, and finding wisdom and insight to evolve and win.
I learned the importance of de-briefing from ex-special forces and mindset coach Itamar Marani. Thank you for this post back in 2019.
2. Checking on the life vision and purpose: In this step, I am getting in sync with my long-term goals and why they are essential.
3. Segment the goals into different life areas, e.g., health, family and relations, finances, business, etc., and then brainstorm goals for each.
5. Convert them into 1-3 SMART goals per category to not overwhelm me, and add the WHY to them -> Why do I want to achieve them?
So, the next section is then about the implementation:
7. Brainstorm what steps I need to take to achieve them and what resources can support doing so. Creating a 'Could Do' List, not a To-Do list now.
So, now, here’s where I am getting stricter about myself. I am installing this mechanism to keep me accountable to my goals:
8. Print out the goals and hang them in our bedroom to make them visible daily.
9. Block out time once a week to review them, prioritize them, and convert the could-do list into actual to-dos.
Credit for steps 2-9 goes to Stefan James who inspired me in this regard following his content since 2010.
10. Quarterly retreats and goal-reviewing trips - My wife and I plan a mini-vacation to review our goals and deepen our relationship.
Credit here to Aaron Lynn, who’s all about processes and gave an inspiring talk about relationship reviews during the last year here in Taipei.
The picture above is taken from a short trip to Xiao Liu Qiu, which my wife and I took to plan our year.
How do you keep yourself accountable?
@CarlWeische +1 on focus work in the morning.
With the work out I need to think about it bcse my goal is the 180kg dl 😅 but optimizing for productivity is a priority
Today, I started working on a new offer we would like to test for the WunderAds agency using ChatGPT 4.0.
I was thinking about how to make this process simple, so I asked the following prompts:
1. I want to draft a new offer and create a landing page. Can you ask me the right questions to come up with the copy?
After ChatGpt came up with a structured list of questions, I then prompted:
2. Can you ask me those questions piece after piece so I can reply and you can create the landing page copy?
After some processing time and a little follow-up from my side, it came out with an interesting outline. Certainly, this is not perfect, but I found some bits and pieces I can ponder.
What was your recent ‘Aha’ moment using ChatGpt?
Copywriting is probably the critical domino skill set for any marketer to learn, so when dialing it in, other pieces become way more accessible.
I have ignored it for too long, giving myself some excuses about not being a native English speaker to not get too much into it, but how wrong can I be?
The fundamentals of copywriting are not only writing an excellent sales letter or landing page copy, a script, or an email but also diving deep into consumer psychology, buying behaviors, learning how to deal with their objections, and, in general, being more persuasive.
This year, I made it my goal to get deeper into learning and studying this craft as I genuinely believe the returns will be humongous.
Here are the three top books that just got recommended to me this morning by a top growth marketer in my network:
1. Eugene Schwartz - Breakthrough Advertising
2. Clout Hopkins - My Life in Advertising and Scientific Advertising
3. John Caples - Tested Advertising Methods
Are there any other resources that you recommend?
“We want to get more sales out of our budget” is usually the number one thing that prospects inquire about when they apply for our audit.
Yesterday, I hopped on a prospect call with an international 7-figure cosmetic brand spending around $45k in Meta (Facebook) Ads that make up to 80% of their entire traffic and sales.
What shocked me was that they were unaware of their key metrics, return on ad spending, and lifetime value even at this size.
It's crucial to know those metrics to scale, especially in a market like cosmetics and skincare, which is very competitive.
The more competition there is in a market, the more you need to be willing to invest upfront in paid ads and the more long-term you need to think about recouping it, hence measuring the lifetime value of the clients.
More competitors mean more people are bidding in the same audiences, hence driving prices up + the target audiences are receiving more and more offers.
Here’s what I recommended:
1. Get a solid tracking tool like Hyros, Northbeam, or Triple Whale to be able to collect long-term data + to have a clean attribution of media channels.
As an eCommerce brand, you want to be able to understand how much lifetime value a customer is generating so you know how much you can spend in the front end of acquiring them
2. Calculate your Return on Ad Spend. This client was only optimizing for Cost per Acquisition.
Not every acquisition is worth the same amount. Customer A might only buy one product at $100; customer B might buy 3 at $300.
If both of them become a customer at a cost of $50 then customer A generates a 200% ROAS, while customer B a 600% ROAS.
3. Think about ways to increase your lifetime value (LTV) to make sure customers are coming back.
A few tactics to do that are Generating an outstanding customer experience, offering subscriptions, great email content, and follow-up sequences, and remarketing the audiences after a specific time.
The higher the LTV, the more you can afford to spend at the front end.
Data is key. Especially when it comes to advertising. You want to know where every dollar is going and there’s no excuse why you cannot achieve a proper tracking system.
Is there anything that I forgot to add in here?
I also immensely enjoy the minimalistic, nearly stoic approach to backpacking.
Everything needed has to fit into a small backpack, including shelter, food, and clothes.
Sometimes, we forget how little we need to feel blissful.
Happy Monday!
Taiwan elected a new president last weekend.
This allowed one in four years to hike to the usually packed and busy yet beautiful SongLuo Hu (松羅湖) in Yilan, Taiwan. It is a famous spot amongst the local hikers.
Going on an overnight camping trip has become one of my most vital tools to reset and rejuvenate. Being immersed in nature, without an internet signal, and surrounded by a great company.
However, this result was only possible with the agility of the CopySharks team, who created the content funnel and were always keen to optimize along the journey.
It has been a great synergy and an incredible journey, and 2024 will be getting even better!
