@21_thorne No, definitely not. Max Verstappen is 2021 F1 world champion. Lewis Hamilton will also be returning in 2022 to try and take back his crown - no doubts.

Merc seem the most confident coming out of the meeting, that being said you would be with evidence of rules quite literally being broken. In Red Bull’s case they said that it is up to the race director on the decision of when/how to restart - also true. Both teams have a case.

🚨Breaking: I’m told first decision from FIA is that Max Verstappen did NOT breach article 48.8. Second hearing in progress as we speak on article 48.2. Merc view is that this rule was breached. RB back Masi and say it’s decision of race director. Official decision soon. #F1

I’m also told several back room staff will follow and there’ll be a gradual change around behind the scenes. Announcement of his dismissal (of “mutual consent”) is being prepared now. Will be sacked on next hours 100% confirmed.
