🔴#GlobalDP: @BoukePieter on impact-based forecasting to guide #AnticipatoryAction in Malawi: “We developed the Impact-Based Forecasting (IBF) Portal to visualize incoming floods. With the IBF Portal, we can estimate not just how the weather will be, but what it will do in terms of damage, allowing disaster managers to make decisions for anticipatory action.”🌧️
