I woke up groggy, too much so. A headache throbbed, but far in the distance. A separate, closer pain nagged at my throat. Every ounce of my energy was spent on the act of waking up, and I already wanted to drift back into the pressured depths of my aching skull.

I have been getting better at figuring out my feelings and how they impact my actions. However, I'm not perfect. And it sucks because I can't explain myself to others. I don't even know why I did that. I don't know why my body took that as a threat.
