It was four months ago today that Jina “Mahsa” Amini, 22, died in police custody after being arrested by the government of Iran's “morality police” for “improperly” wearing her hijab.
Today marks four months since a Kurdish-Iranian woman named Mahsa Zhina Amini died after being beaten by Islamic Republic authorities.
While her murder sparked a revolution, we can’t forget she isn’t a martyr, she was just a young woman visiting her uncle.
She should be alive.
