Today we began the formal meetings of Federal, Provincial and Territorial Agriculture Ministers from across the country in Fredericton, New Brunswick. I am honoured to represent Alberta and begin many discussions towards the future of agriculture and agri-food in Canada.
We are pleased to host the Annual Conference of Federal, Provincial and Territorial Agriculture Ministers here in New Brunswick. I joined Ministers Margaret Johnson and Réjean Savoie last night at the welcome reception. It was a pleasure to meet participants and learn more about how they are helping to innovate this important industry.

@svhs1985 Thanks Chris. We tried something like this 25 years ago edit didn’t quite work. I think we created a program that will truly help farmers. They are stewards of the land and this will Help defray the cost of Holly the lime to their field
@svhs1985@NBTFFENB @NBTeachersAssn I appreciate that so many of you took the time to have your concerns listened to. I’m sorry that I am out of the province on Ministry business, but rest assured I am scheduling a meeting when I return.
