@chiddickstree Agnes transcribed as James on Ancestry so Ancestry trees have an extra child on them. James is stated to be a daughter in the record. Correct elsewhere. #AncestryHour
@WikiTreers The first members of my family arrived at Port Nicholson on 30 January 1840. Others followed over the years. There must be a good number of them by now.
@AllThoseBefore Happy new year. I'm working through a large group of #DNA matches only my sister & I have. Common name = Dougherty. Building a tree to connect them. MRCA must be in late 1600s/early 1700s. A sticky segment?
@DSRGenealogist That's me. I'm an aunt & great-aunt. And there are many in my family. I do great @wikitree bios for spinsters and childless women. Some great stories. #genealogy
@juliailse And I see your excellent waste work crop up on LinkedIn and elsewhere. Keep up the struggle. One day we will get there! I had hoped to come to Nelson at Hogmanay, but need to see if my hip gets worse. Best wishes.
@juliailse Just had Firefox unable to load on Desktop, so am changing everything to Chrome while I find out why. It works on phone! Busy getting rid of paper files, writing my memoir. Hip replacement in January from fall in 2016, wrist bad from that fall too. Otherwise well.
@ThePeopleTracer Not likely with my one experience of asking a professional to search a given record set for a list of people. Record set not used, just general information from FMP & SP which I access myself.
