@washingtonpost There need to be a full investigation and individual trials for each of the men before any conclusions are made. The law must be followed, all evidence must be made available before any conclusions can be made.

@washingtonpost The same standard should apply across the spectrum: candidates are commonly pressed on ties to people with extreme or inflammatory rhetoric, regardless of ideology. Voters can then weigh that information against the candidate’s own record, statements, and policy positions.

@NYCMayor Ending a 9/11 walk at an Islamic center is as inappropriate as ending an Indigenous victims’ ceremony at a Christian church, given each faith’s association with the respective perpetrators. Both choices are incredibly inappropriate.
