Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas
James Talarico: “We were not founded as a Christian nation. We were founded as a nation where you are free to be a Christian or a Jew or a Muslim or a Sikh or Buddhist or an Atheist. That’s the promise of America that we are this multicultural melting pot”
The family of a child who was repeatedly raped by a man who Ken Paxton let off with no new jail time is speaking out:
“The fact that Attorney General Ken Paxton allowed this man to get away with molesting and sexually abusing [our] son for three years is completely disqualifying.
Adam Hoffman could have faced life in prison. Instead, Ken Paxton and his office offered him a deal that kept him off the sex-offender registry and included no new jail time.”
BREAKING: I'm suing Todd Blanche and the DOJ to STOP the $1.8B slush fund. The Justice Department violated the Administrative Procedures Act when it established the fund, and it must be set aside. You can read my complaint here: https://t.co/bygXANmqlZ
!! ALERT: Former federal judge John Jones III says it looks like "fraud" and "collusion" were at play in Trump's lawsuit vs. IRS and the $1.7 billion fund "settlement"
Jones (who's now president of Dickinson College) joined 34 other retired judges asking court to investigate

We already have a process for determining whether accusers are credible. It’s called a trial. And a jury already decided they believed E Jean Carroll. THIS is weaponization.

Earlier this month, President Donald Trump disclosed that his trust is actively trading individual stocks — an unprecedented practice for a sitting U.S. president in the modern era.
The arrangement is raising new questions about whether the president’s actions, policies or public statements could directly benefit his personal financial holdings.
@elizlanders reports.
Ken Paxton is throwing everything he has at us.
He’s called me a radical leftist. He’s called me a fake Christian. He’s even called me a vegan!
I’m an 8th generation Texan — I've been eating BBQ since before Ken Paxton’s first indictment.
This year, Trump purchased more than $1 million of Dell stock.
This week, Trump's Pentagon announced a $9.7 billion contract with Dell.

Ken Paxton just gave an Epstein-style deal to a pedophile.
Paxton released Adam Hoffman — an admitted child rapist — back on our streets after Paxton’s rich lawyer friend got involved.
The Epstein Class has no place in Texas. Ken Paxton has no place in the US Senate.
This week alone:
DOJ opens an investigation into the woman Trump raped.
The White House is caught steering a $620 million contract to Don Jr.’s firm.
The Pentagon hands out a $10 billion contract after Trump buys stock in the company.
Foreign governments are caught funneling hundreds of millions into a random JPMorgan account tied to Trump’s “Board of Peace” with no oversight.
It’s just Thursday.
The corruption isn’t hidden anymore. It’s happening out in the open.
When the Pentagon announced a $620 million loan last year to a startup linked to Donald Trump Jr., defense officials and the company tried to tamp down suspicions of cronyism.
We found that the request came directly from the White House.

Samuel Alito’s son has worked as a lawyer inside Trump’s Treasury Department since early last year. The administration hid it.
No public resume, no LinkedIn, no mention on the Treasury website, outdated bar listings. Four former officials confirmed it.
The public was never told.
Here is why that matters.
Philip Alito served as an attorney-adviser in Treasury’s general counsel office, briefed on department matters across the board, while the Supreme Court took up a case in which the Treasury Department was a named defendant.
The department never disclosed the connection in court.
Justice Alito did not recuse.
The federal recusal law is plain. A justice must step aside in any case where his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.
That is the test.
Not whether anyone can prove influence but whether a reasonable person looking at this would doubt it. A justice ruling on cases involving the very agency that employs his son fails that test on its face.
And Treasury sits at the center of many upcoming issues, including the fight over Trump’s $1.776 billion dollar fund to reward the January 6th rioters he pardoned. That fight could be headed to the Court too.
This is exactly why the honor system has failed.
The Supreme Court is the only court in America with no enforceable code of conduct. I support withholding funding from the Court until the justices adopt a binding code with real recusal review.
Congress holds the power of the purse.
We should use it.
