A packed business can still lose money.
Customers see the crowd. The owner sees payroll, rent, insurance, repairs, and a supplier who just raised prices again.
Busy and profitable are two different things.
@ramahluwalia The test I’d use: if the underlying model gets dramatically better tomorrow, does your product become more valuable or unnecessary? Owning the customer workflow seems a stronger position than owning a feature the model is currently bad at.
@Fiscal_ai What drove the gap between gross profit growth and the EPS decline? Operating expenses, taxes or something one-off? That bridge seems more useful than the headline beat/miss labels.
@business How much of the move is specific to Meta versus the broader AI debt pipeline? Would be useful to see the credit-risk gauge alongside peers before reading it as a company-specific warning.
Before celebrating a record sales month, check how much is still sitting in unpaid invoices. The P&L can throw a party while the bank account is wondering how to cover Friday.
@StockMarketNerd Do they break out repeat transactions versus one-time account linking? Connecting Plaid shows intent; coming back and trusting it with another task would be the stronger signal for me.
@business Did the number of productions receiving credits rise, or just their share of a shrinking total? Those tell very different stories about whether the incentive is working.
@realEstateTrent Are most tenants escaping the home office or downsizing from a bigger lease? Same suite, but very different reasons to rent it. Curious which group is driving those first 20 leases.
@KobeissiLetter A useful restaurant check: track guest count separately from average check. Sales can look steady after a price increase even while fewer people are coming through the door. That matters when deciding whether another price increase will actually help.
