🍁 September 22, 2026: Autumn Equinox
The Sun’s ingress into Libra marks the Autumn Equinox and is a seasonal pivot point (+/- 1 week) in some financial assets within Gann methodology. This week & next week I am on watch for a weekly pivot low on $DIA and a weekly pivot high on $DXY.

The Sun makes his ingress into the sign of Libra on the cusp of the 5th and 6th house over NYC - this activates both financial markets and labor markets for the upcoming quarter.

The Sun also crosses 0° declination, emphasizing balance, transition and a change in the seasonal cycle. Libra brings contracts, negotiations, trade relationships, legal structures and alliances into focus.

September 19, 2026 Chiron retrogrades from Taurus back into Aries, reopening themes that have been developing since its first Aries ingress in 2018:
Identity, autonomy and leadership
Personal and collective agency
Rights and social movements
Technological and communications networks

Chiron's brief move into Taurus introduced a new set of themes around resources, agriculture, food production, land, water and commodity scarcity.

One market hypothesis I’m tracking is whether strength in agricultural commodities begins to consolidate as Chiron retreats into Aries, before those Taurus themes are reignited when Chiron returns to Taurus in 2027.

HELIOCENTRIC Chiron remains in Aries until March 13, 2026. Aries is the slowest part of Chiron’s orbit, near aphelion and closest to the orbital region of Uranus.

This matters because Chiron may not behave as one uniform 50-year cycle. My current working hypothesis is that Chiron behaves more Uranian near aphelion and progressively more Saturnian as it moves inward toward perihelion.

Tesing roughly 200 years of history: four Chiron cycles, I found that Uranus-side/aphelion periods repeatedly clustered around:

Rights/social-change events appeared in 3 of 4 cycles within ±3 years of aphelion, versus none of the four perihelion windows.

Technology/network events appeared in all 4 aphelion cycles within ±5 years.

From a financial perspective, all 4 aphelion cohorts contained a major financial/economic-order event within five years AFTER aphelion - taking place while HELIO Chiron is in Taurus.

🌑 September 10, 2026 New Moon at 18° Virgo. This looks like a “the numbers require action” New Moon, with particular emphasis on economic data, fiscal conditions, labor, and the management of essential resources.

Virgo directs attention toward accounting, data, health, labor data, and logistics. In the New York chart, the New Moon squares the Part of Fortune, adding tension between the information being presented and the financial outcome.

This New Moon is also sextile to Mars in Cancer. Mars provides an avenue for action: problems identified through the data may lead quickly to spending decisions, policy responses, or efforts to protect domestic resources.

All eyes on $DXY in September: 20 week cycle low due September 21, 2026 (+/- 4 weeks) placing us inside the time-band for that low. I have two most likely scenarios on watch:
Scenario #1: Double bottom at $99.55 - watch for a stop hunt at this level with a test or wick below support. However, if we lose this level with confirmed closes watch for Scenario #2.
Scenario #2: Break of support at $99.55 and move lower into the week of September 21 where we find the 20 week cycle low. If we lose $99.55 I am watching $97.63 for support.
