Last evening saw the magnificent projection of “Dynamo - the spirit of Ramsgate” on the cliff wall. Very evocative and poignant for this weekend. The QRA Corps of Drums put on an excellent display along the Parade. Well done to all involved

15/5-28/6/26, Standing with Giants will bring a remembrance installation to Ramsgate Harbour.
This will feature 338 life-sized silhouettes representing one figure for every thousand troops rescued during Operation Dynamo.
25 Dunkirk Little Ships will be in attendance BH weekend.

We carried out the annual clean of the plaques at Newport Quay. Double the effort this year as we had the second plaque installed in the newly built cairn last August.

This weekend has mainly been sanding the toe rail from bow to midships back to bare wood, on the port side.

A sealing cost and two coats now applied, eight to go! Pleased with the results so far.
