When Jesus and John the Baptist declared, "The kingdom is at hand," they were preaching prophetic urgency, not declaring chronological nearness. This is why they always add the word "Repent." Never once do they say: "The Kingdom is at hand. Calculate."
Our favorite neighborhood cray says “goyim” means “cattle,” not “nations.” So let’s try it out:
“These are the families of Noah….by these the [cattle] of the earth were divided” (Gen 10:32)
“I will make of you a great [cattle]” (Gen 12:2)
“As for me, behold, my covenant is with you, and you shall be the father of many [cattle]” (Gen 17:4)
“He increaseth the [cattle], and destroyeth them. He enlargeth the [cattle], and straiteneth them again” (Job 12:23)
“Why do the [cattle] rage, and the peoples plot a vain thing?” (Psalm 2:1)
“For the Kingdom is the LORD’s, and He rules over the [cattle]” (Psalm 22:28)
“Be still and know I am GOD; I will be exalted amongst the [cattle], I will be exalted in the earth” (Psalm 46:10)
My personal favorite:
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all [cattle] shall flow unto it…And He shall judge among the [cattle], and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.” (Isa 2:2, 4)
Honestly, @realcandaceo, Blue Letter Bible is free. Super easy to use.

Iraqi security forces posing with stacks of cash grafted by corrupt Iraqi officials who were recently arrested in an anti-corruption dragnet.
Notice who's on the wall in the background.
@NKE_homeschool@Joel7Richardson Absolutely. Evil needs to be exposed. Let's not kid ourselves for fear of offending people. Enough of that, really. The more people know about this, the better.
@canarymission@sircalebhammer Dakota and Marisa will regret it the day they meet the Jewish Son of the God of Israel face to face. Among many other passages, Matthew 25:31-46 tells us the criteria God will use to judge the nations. Jew-haters out there, it won't be pretty, put it that way.
If someone calls themselves the Mahdi, the Messiah, or even an apostle or prophet, you can guarantee they've instantly lost all credibility in my eyes.
Is it okay to believe Islam's worship system is not of the God of the Bible, but a counterfeit presented by Satan? Some find this harsh, challenging modern ideas of religious relativity. #Theology#FaithDebate
@gulagthiswaayy@Joel7Richardson If you have a Bible, read Joel 3; Zechariah 12:2,3; Matthew 25:31-46 and many, many other passages where you will see that spitting on God (the God of Israel, that is) is really not a good idea.
