LOOK | EastMinCom Troops Neutralize Eleven Communist NPA Terrorists in Surigao del Sur

Troops from the Eastern Mindanao Command (EASTMINCOM) neutralized 11 Communist NPA Terrorists (CNTs) in a joint military operation from September 7 to 9 in Surigao del Sur.

The operation resulted in the recovery of 11 high-powered firearms, explosives, and other materials. Two of the killed CNTs were identified as top leaders, including Florencio L. Montella, alias Atoy, and Felipe Tejero Sr., alias Reb.

EASTMINCOM Commander LtGen Luis Rex D Bergante PA called for an end to violence, emphasizing the importance of rehabilitation and reintegration programs for those who choose to lay down their arms and reintegrate into society.
