'Red Kite' at the top of Cwm Sychan, Abersychan this morning. Very many apologies for the quality of this photo. I have not seen a Red Kite here before & it is only the second time that I have seen one in the Abersychan area.

'A Boy from Hafodyrynys, forever a Boy of Flanders Fields' Remembering my Great Uncle Joe Murray, one of so many who fell in WW1. Joe served in The Monmouthshire Regiment & is buried alongside Charles Henry Bond near Ypres. Both died within days of each other in June 1915.
