Our rescue team worked to get her safely out before bringing her to our hospital for treatment and care.

A mother seal approached two women on the beach, but one of them threw her drink at the animal to scare it away. Shortly after, the seal headed toward a man, trying to get his attention; it then snatched one of his sandals and ran off toward the ocean. Following the seal, the man discovered that its pup was trapped in a fishing net among the rocks. The entire time, the mother had simply been looking for someone to help her little one.
