@LisaGrant6161 @Jenny_1884 If you are receiving any programmes, even through a streaming service, you are legally obliged to pay the licence fee. Every time someone has outsmarted their fee rules, they’ve changed them accordingly. It doesn’t even matter now if you don’t view content on a tv!

@Jenny_1884 to avoid a prison sentence - they can shove their fine, I’m poor - is something I find extremely galling, to say the least. In fact I think the BBC ‘licence fee’ should be referred to the monopolies commission.

@Jenny_1884 I don’t watch the BBC, yet am still coerced into paying the licence fee. In fact I don’t watch terrestrial tv at all, since I stream tv via sky glass. I already pay through the nose for that privilege, so paying towards the DGen’s outrageous outrageous salary…
