Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution states:
“The Congress may determine the Time of choosing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.”
I’m about to go to the Senate floor to ask for unanimous consent to pass universal background checks.
Some will call me foolish for trying – one Republican objection and this fails.
