استقبل معالي الشيخ محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني، رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، سعادة الدكتور برهم صالح، المفوض السامي للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، الذي يزور البلاد حالياً.

جرى خلال المقابلة، استعراض علاقات التعاون بين دولة قطر والمفوضية السامية للأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين، وسبل دعمها وتعزيزها، بالإضافة إلى عدد من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.

#Yemen hosts 63,000 refugees and asylum seekers — some who have been here for decades, others who arrived seeking safety just recently.

They live in a country facing its own devastating crisis. And yet they stay — because for many, there is nowhere else to go.

أعلن البنك الإسلامي للتنمية (البنك)، بصفته أمين الصندوق الإسلامي العالمي للاجئين، عن توقيع اتفاقية استراتيجية لمساهمة الجهات المانحة مع #قطر_الخيرية. وقّع الاتفاقية كل من الدكتور رامي أحمد، نائب الرئيس للعمليات في البنك الإسلامي للتنمية، والسيد نواف عبد الله الحمادي، نائب الرئيس التنفيذي للبرامج والاتصال في قطر الخيرية. ويُمثل هذا التعاون تقدُّماً مهمّاً لهذا الصندوق في تقديم مساعدات إنسانية وقفية مستدامة، وإنشاء إطار متين لدعم النازحين قسرياً، ومنهم اللاجئون والنازحون داخلياً والمجتمعات المضيفة الأكثر ضعفاً في جميع البلدان الأعضاء في البنك.
وتعزز هذه الشراكة الاستراتيجية التزاماً مشتركاً بالتقدّم الإنساني، وتساهم مساهمة مباشرة في مواجهة الأزمة العالمية المتفاقمة للنزوح القسريّ، وذلك بالمواءمة بين الإغاثة الفورية والتعافي المنهجيّ الطويل الأمد. وبالجمع بين خبرة قطر الخيرية الواسعة في العمليات الميدانية والنموذج الوقفيّ المبتكر للصندوق الإسلامي العالمي للاجئين، تكسر هذه الشراكة الحلقة التقليدية المتمثلة في الاعتماد على مساعدات في شكل منح. وسيواصل الصندوق، بفضل هذه الشراكة الجديدة، تعزيز القدرة على الصمود المستدام وتمكين السكان النازحين قسريّاً بالتدابير اللازمة لتحقيق الحياة الكريمة وآفاق الاكتفاء الذاتيّ.
