But Travis is also the one who has to watch the daily unal*ve threats come in against Taylor. Who has watched the stalkers being arrested after travelling halfway round the world to endanger her. Who stood with her when a global t*rrorist attack threatened her life, livelihood and fans. It was Travis that had to tell her from halfway around the world that his team’s celebration was ruined by hatred and violence and loss. Who saw her be attacked by dehumanising, terrifying and disgusting AI p*rn images that were created and spread on this platform, created simply because her dating and supporting him pissed off some insecure nobody. Who has had to watch the powerful people responsible for said platform make r*pe threats against her. Who has been by her side while she endangered herself and received hate for stating her truth and seeking to protect others through her democratic rights. It’s been Travis by her side through all of this. Through everything we don’t and will never know about but that Taylor has to live with daily. You’re damn right his answer today had her and her safety in mind and nothing but that. Which means that his answer today was everything it needed to be and anyone saying otherwise is being naive, ignorant, selfish and downright obtuse.
