It has been an agonizing journey for our dear sister Chemu
Let her rest in peace and let the family mourn her in peace & quiet
Go well dear sister
May you find peace in the great beyond and may the ancestors embrace you
Sit This One Out
Kevin Migwe Kimwatu ran with a set of former USIU rugby men who organised their lives around moneyed women. He is said to have been close to George Gachui - Pozza who took his own life years ago.
The gap between what that education promised and what the economy delivered has already wrecked enough households. That is context. It is not a brief.
On this matter he should be silent.
There is no honour in the spectacle after the fact. Whatever stepping up was required belonged to the years Rosemary Koech was alive. Court will not rebuild an ego, wash off the public shame, or reverse a declining ledger.
A real man keeps a private collapse private. It is enough that the country now knows he was not even named next of kin by the person he is trying to attach himself to in death.
Stop. The file is closed. The noise only makes it worse.
@sholard_mancity Ruto keeps repeating everytime "Mimi si mwendawazimu"
I think he is re-assuring himself he is not, because he is!
Tell me why he is holding Lectures about SHA working to Kenyans, while DOCTORS AND NURSES are on Strike???
Don't you think this kind of behavior is mental??💀😂😂
Mr. President @WilliamsRuto you have just confirmed our worst fears.
Had the framers of the 2010 Constitution not vested sovereign power in the people of Kenya under Article 1, you would have long turned this country into a full dictatorship with zero regard for the citizenry.
A constitution is made by the people, for the people. It is not a temporary vehicle for the short-term interests, greed, or convenience of one administration. It is meant for posterity.
Sadly for you, you must live with this Constitution. It has been the only brake on the reckless excesses that would otherwise have mortgaged our children’s future.
If governing under this progressive, people-centred Constitution has become too difficult for you, nobody is forcing you to cling to power. Exit in peace. Leave leadership to those who actually respect constitutionalism.
HISTORIC VICTORY. HIGH COURT DECLARES THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT ON LAND JUSTICE IN KENYA.
In my petition, Okiya Omtatah Okoiti v Attorney General & Others, the High Court has declared unconstitutional the provisions of the National Land Commission Act that imposed time limits on the Commission’s constitutional mandate to review grants of public land and investigate historical land injustices.
The Court affirmed a simple but powerful principle. Parliament cannot diminish or extinguish powers that the Constitution has vested in an independent constitutional commission. Justice delayed cannot become justice denied through legislative deadlines.
This judgment restores hope to thousands of Kenyans and communities who were locked out of justice by arbitrary statutory time bars. The constitutional path to redress for historical land injustices remains open.
The Constitution has prevailed. Land justice has no expiry date.

Kenyans hawachelewi…mliskia nimetumwa Agriculture/fisheries committee mshajaza intray kabla hata nijjue kamati hukaa wapi. Today everyone’s getting it!
They removed me from the Senate Committee on Roads, Transport & Housing where I champion inclusive transport and mobility, sustainable cities, and accessibility in the built environment for the rights of over 8 million persons with disabilities as provided for in the PWD Act of 2025.
Everyday, I come to this house diligently to do my job, to execute the business of those I was brought here to represent, and I do it well even with a disability.
If this is punishment by the leadership - so be it, but one thing that people ought to know is that God has a knack for turning a bad situation into a glorious occasion! 😉 #VIP
After 8½ years of advocacy & litigation I recovered the 843 acres (341.2 HA) piece of government land in Busia County from fraudsters who had stolen it and I restored it to the public. ... {Nasewa Land, a thread}
Dear @edwinsifuna the whole country is praying for you my brother. The hope for a better country is resting on your shoulders. God has annointed you. His favor is upon you. He has given you the wisdom that you need to fix the challenges that Kenya has. Do not be afraid for He is with you. Always.
Let me beat you a story.
The Odious Debts Petition has caused a lot of tension across the government.
So, the killer regime came up with strategies to suppress it.
Strategy 1:
The Attorney General drafted some useless booklets, presented them in court saying that they are already doing debt auditing and the Petition should not be allowed to proceed.
Strategy 2:
William Ruto ran to form a Presidential Public Debts Auditing team.
Strategy 3:
The Attorney-General made an application asking the High Court to suspend the petition on basis of a planned appeal to the Court of Appeal.
The Odious Debts Petitioners have encountered all these three strategies and have won.
1. The petitioners filed a Petition Challenging the Presidential Public Debts Auditing team and today, the High Court has ruled the team unconstitutional stating that the work of auditing lies within the office of the Auditor General.
2. On the 25th of June 2026, the Court rejected attempts by the Attorney General and other respondents to have the case dismissed.
3. Yesterday the Petitioners opposed Strategy 3 on the grounds that the High Court cannot supervise how the CoA, [a superior court under Article 162(1) of the Constitution], exercises its jurisdiction. The court ruled that the Petition proceeds to full hearing on the 23rd of October 2026.
Kenyans must not let the issue of Odious Debts to slide.
Kenyans must be informed about this politically engineered crisis.
This is economic terrorism and we must fight it with everything possible.
Na saa hii inataka hadi Maandamano!

‘You can appeal…” is the most disgusting distasteful statement a J.O can tell counsel. The moment she said it she stopped being Honorable. @CJMarthaKoome i hope youre seeing what your officers are doing @Kenyajudiciary
