San Jose City leaders must embrace and celebrate our community diversity. I fully expect that San Jose Councilman @BienDoanSJ will condemn this event, not participate and clarify as to how he is even remotely associated with these hateful organizers.
This #4thofJuly2023 , let's redefine patriotism! 🇺🇸 It's in raising our voices for justice, it's in peaceful protests for a better tomorrow, it's in educating ourselves and others. Because true patriotism lies in making our nation better, not just for a few but for all.
Our residents deserve city programs for everyone. Cutting services to benefit private schools with city funds hurts residents and creates an unfair bid process. We have over 1,000 city job vacancies… is THIS your solution, @MattMahanSJ?
Thanks for reporting @sjspotlight.
Question we need to ask ourselves in San Jose: Why are all the billionaire developers, corporate landlords & REALTORs in San Jose against building permanent affordable housing?
Big Real Estate benefits when we don’t build affordable housing & rents continue to rise.
How we vote can impact housing, education, public safety & more.
Here in San José, we're deciding on our next mayor amongst other key races.
Let's come together and elect leaders who will represent the needs of our communities!

There are some lines that should never be crossed. I want a Mayor who has the convictions to understand that & lead our city in a safer direction that drowns out those like the NRA who only seek to sow chaos as they continue to flood our streets with guns. Vote @chavezformayor
.@MattMahanSJ can’t claim profit-motive indifference b/c there are certain values everyone should agree upon. In fact, many companies have cut ties with the NRA over the years. Giving voice to the NRA is inexcusable! We must support @chavezformayor! https://t.co/wLA4hllaI3
"San Jose is rapidly changing with policies that are not helping our community — we can change that.
When you talk to friends relatives and neighbors, let’s remind them that their vote matters in shaping our shared futures."
- Tony Romero @LunaLatinosSJ
Those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. Under @IreneSmithD3 leadership, @BayHomeowners engaged in race baiting, just as she’s doing now. She’s also accused of illegally lobbying against renters for the same organization https://t.co/VxTAIYUOD0
San Joseans take note. Big real estate spending 1 million dollars hitting Cindy because she supported eviction moratorium during pandemic. She worked to keep ppl in their homes during global pandemic and Matt’s ppl are going after her for it???
Big Real Estate has been at the root of "pay to play" corruption within SJ City Hall, moving Councilmembers like @MattMahanSJ giving away millions of public dollars to corporate developers & their lobbyists.
This is the money in politics the public should be concerned about.
I don’t tweet often but as a parent, as someone raised in SJ who loves this community so much, I can’t stay silent and watch someone who believes “empowering the NRA” is a “social good” try to be mayor. #RealMahan#NRAisNoTSocialGood https://t.co/HOyU8rynHa
@seiuusww is proud to join the strike against SBM @Meta. Today hundreds of janitors at Meta's Menlo Park Campus are walking off the job. If you work at Meta bring your hand sanitizer and wipes today. It's gonna get messy. #JusticeForJanitors#EssentialNotExpendable
Janitors at @Meta in Menlo Park are joining San Francisco janitors @local87seiu in a strike over unfair labor practices. If you work @Meta you might want to bring in some wipes and hand sanitizer today, could get messy. #JusticeForJanitors#EssentialNotExpendable
This is telling on many levels: A key difference between @chavezformayor & her opponent is she starts (and ends) from a place that centers workers. She will never be about enriching herself and others at the expense of workers. @SJSpotlight https://t.co/1apA6AQsWI
Wow! @MattMahanSJ faces state legal probe over evidence indicating he misclassified workers and cheated taxpayers.

If you can't run your own campaign without breaking the law, should you be allowed to run San Jose City Hall?
Widespread potential tax & labor law violations reported across @MattMahanSJ's Mayoral campaign in investigation by @SJSpotlight's @nguyenntrann.
