THIS ROBOT SORTS PACKAGES OFF A CONVEYOR FASTER THAN THE HUMANS STANDING NEXT TO IT FILMING IT. A WAREHOUSE PARCEL SORTER MAKES ABOUT $18 AN HOUR FOR THIS EXACT JOB.

Grabbing boxes and soft poly mailers straight off the belt and dropping each one down the correct sorting chute, one after another, no pause to read a label twice or double check where it goes. The screen behind it is running footage of the same task at full warehouse scale, dozens of arms doing this in parallel.

Parcel sorting is one of the highest turnover jobs in logistics precisely because it's repetitive enough to be miserable and fast paced enough to be exhausting, which is exactly the combination that makes warehouses desperate for anything that doesn't quit after six months.

Everyone in this clip is filming it like a novelty. The company running the booth is filming the exact same footage for a very different audience, one that measures success in packages per hour, not likes.
