In the words of Nelson Mandela: it always seems impossible until it’s done.
My friends, it is done. And you are the ones who did it.
I am honored to be your Democratic nominee for the Mayor of New York City.
From #Gaza, the cries of parents rise to heaven ever more intensely as they clutch the lifeless bodies of their children, searching for food and shelter from bombs. I renew my appeal to leaders: cease fire, release all hostages, and fully respect international humanitarian law!
Opinion from the FT's Editorial Board: 'The US and European countries that tout Israel as an ally that shares their values have issued barely a word of condemnation. They should be ashamed of their silence, and stop enabling Netanyahu to act with impunity.' https://t.co/fbf9aojkcg

All proceeds will support the Masafer Yatta communities featured in the doc, including support to families attacked by settlers and the funding of classes to grow the next generation of local storytellers.
Editorial | "La pretensión del presidente de Estados Unidos de expulsar a casi dos millones de palestinos de la Franja es un intolerable desafío a la legalidad internacional" https://t.co/2v23TSAxDY
The President of the United States welcomed a leader wanted by the ICC and officially endorsed ethnic cleansing.
Now would be a good time for our government to defend international law.
If they won’t say it, we will: Palestinians aren’t going anywhere.
As a surgeon in Gaza, I witnessed hell visited on children. It shames me that Britain played a part in it | Nizam Mamode | @guardian https://t.co/1YkRzlAM9g
‘We owe it to the thousands of children who have been killed to pause and open ourselves up to the fullness of the little lives that were snatched away.’
Goodbye to the slain children of Gaza. You were loved, you are remembered, you did not deserve it. https://t.co/qDQJPHWgSO
Never in my life will I understand how one can be silent in the midst of the utmost horror against children: Silent or even justifying this. We have a duty to protect children - all children, everywhere, every one of us. This is the base of life, isn’t it? What have we become?
For the past year, Israeli newspaper @haaretzcom has been a hugely important voice, brave and principled enough to criticise openly Netanyahu. Now it faces sanction by Netanyahu’s autocratic government.

Berlin's official city portal just wrote our film No Other Land has "antisemitic tendencies". A film that won the Berlinale and was recently invited to a special screening in the German embassy in Israel. It pains me to see how, after murdering most of my family in the holocaust, you empty the word antisemitism of meaning to silence critics of Israel's occupation in the West Bank (the topic of our film) and legitimize violence against Palestinians. I feel unsafe and unwelcome in Berlin of 2024 as a left-wing Israeli and will take legal action.
Please consider donating to my friend Zaki, who is in Bureij Camp in Gaza. He is one among so many struggling to access their basic needs, and is caring for his father who suffered a stroke. It's one small way you can help, do DM if you want more info.

Since the start of the war, the IDF has killed at least 126 journalists in Gaza and many of their families.
This is the story of Wael Al Dahdouh, and the Palestinian journalists who continue to report despite the extraordinary risks they face.

"Children – deeply unwell children – are being denied the medical care that could save them in Gaza, and then prevented from leaving to places where help awaits.”
