@HumistonJon I wasn't surprised with the challenges mentioned. Many organizations struggle with diversity and equity. Another takeaway is that mentoring programs should be promoted.

@HumistonJon In order to improve those things to improve the work of faculty there must be an entire culture change at the university. Faculty should utilize student assistant and grad assistant when they can to even out their work load. This also creates more opportunities.

@HumistonJon I've never heard of this term before the online lecture. I would say that this mentality must negatively affect work. There should be a work life balance in all careers and I think it is important especially in faculty work, since there is so much work with teaching & research

@HumistonJon I thought the articles were very interesting, I have honestly never noticed how the language in teacher reviews varied and were gendered. But thinking back to undergrad when I really valued reviews before selecting a course section that makes sense.
