The year is 2032. AI has mastered influence (too soon? Maybe not).

You wake up, groggy, to the sound of your AI assistant softly humming your favorite song—one it composed just for you, using 16 years of personal data. Your fridge has already decided what you’ll have for breakfast based on your metabolism scan overnight. As you sip your protein-infused coffee, your feed is full of breaking news, AI-generated debates, and influencers with perfect, algorithm-optimized faces.

You scroll through content at lightning speed, but nothing surprises you anymore. Every joke lands perfectly. Every headline is tailored to your interests. Every “friend” responds in the most comforting, logical way.

No one stumbles over their words.
No one forgets a name.
No one hesitates before they speak.

Because no one is real. We probably already passed the crisis on definition of the word "real".

Somewhere along the way, the internet stopped being human.
AI-generated influencers replaced real ones.
Every podcast is AI-generated, hosted by voices trained on history’s greatest thinkers. AI companions provide the perfect conversation—never disagreeing too much, never making mistakes.

Perfect engagement. Perfect content. Perfect people.

I am guessing, it took several years until people started craving imperfection.

Underground networks formed—places where you could pay to interact with real people. Companies launched "Human Mode"—a $99/month subscription to filter out AI-generated content. Dating apps introduced a "100% Human Verified" option.

Exclusive "human experience" clubs emerged—where people paid thousands just to have dinner with other real people. No AI. No filters. Just raw, unpredictable, manual, un-optimized human interaction.

And then, the final twist:

AI started making mistakes on purpose.

Because humans, it turned out, didn’t really miss humans. They missed imperfection.

Yes, I know this is probably a very not likely future (I hope?), but my 1:00am question is.. when we talk a lot about where AI is going, all wonderful future of tech, quantum computing, and automation. Where are we? Where and what is the future of humans?

Obama not only said that illegals must not be allowed to work here, he went one step further and said that employers should be forced to prove that they offered the job to American citizens before they are allowed to hire guest workers.
