Ok, fr though— 1) take clear pictures! Get way closer! that’s scary, but 99% can’t hurt you, & the rest can only hurt if you touch them. Move slow, take your time. 2) size references help a ton! 3) multiple angles. 4) observe how it moves, any noises, where it’s hanging out.
I feel like a need a little guide to share with loved ones— how *not* to take a photo of a bug if you want me to ID it. Eg. Please no smoosh before picture.
