@BasedBandita Annoyingly for me I now have to use assistance at the airport, I can’t walk very far following an accident. I find it both fascinating and annoying how many people use it and then when they get to their destination a miracle happens, they can walk!!

@sapphitweet I was giving my experience of being offered NHS transportation. It can be arranged but I don’t know the criteria where you live, contact your GP or the hospital to see whether or not they can arrange it for you.
@Simon111xyz@archer_rs No probs. It can be like a horrible game of chance. Our former neighbour had three chains collapse in the last year before the finally moved a couple of months ago. It was very, very stressful for them.
@Simon111xyz@archer_rs It’s when there are number of people buying/selling their houses at the same time. It’s a nightmare when one (or more) in the chain either pulls out or reneges on the existing agreement, the chain may collapse meaning you need to start the process again, it’s very stressful.
@conor_brn Used to have them but removed them after a neighbour complained. Months later they said the noise had started again and it was keeping them awake. It wasn’t us, they had to go on the hunt to find out what it was, turns out it was one of their children’s toys 🤣
@ClareSweeney70@TheGriftReport So it was the farmers land, he had barriers up which got moved and had polite signs telling people not to park and there were sheep and lambs in the field. But that’s OK, you ignore all the clues and park. Sorry, they shouldn’t have done it.
@EllardKing Average mortgage interest rates 35 years ago were between 10 & 15%. The amount you could borrow was much lower than it is now. For example: When we got our first house 33 years ago we were only allowed to borrow 2.5 x our joint annual income.
